At the Strategist, we are equal-opportunity denim lovers, even (and especially) when the “denim” is actually a trompe l'oeil sweatpant. So when stylist Charline Zeroual told us about the pull-on jeans she’s recommended to eight clients (including a 70-year-old lawyer and a 30-something entrepreneur), we simply had to ask more. "They’re as comfortable as leggings and about as put-together as trousers," she says. "They’re made to last and not stretch out even after lots of moving around or sitting (hence the name Jetset). That’s also why they look more like jeans than jeggings."
Also on the site: Rachael Griffiths investigated whether Volufiline — a French cosmetic that promises to stimulate fat cells, make your breasts bigger, and plump your under eyes (!) — is too good to be true. And for last week’s Beauty Brief newsletter, Rachael told us about her favorite, less-expensive vitamin-C serum.

In last week’s Secret Strategist newsletter, editors Simone Kitchens and Katy Schneider tracked down the Adidas sneakers Jennifer Lawrence was wearing around NYC. They’re these, a still-in-production cousin (?) to our beloved but difficult-to-procure Chen Taos.
If you want more special stuff like this (that we’d usually save for ourselves), sign up to get the newsletter, which hits inboxes every Thursday morning. |
