We’re nearing the final days of Amazon’s Big Spring Sale, which started on Tuesday and runs through Monday, March 31. It’s a great time to get a good discount on Strategist-recommended beauty products, from Seen’s dermatologist-designed shampoo to Starface pimple patches. Beauty writer Rachael Griffiths has done a deep dive on all the best beauty deals here. Discounted fashion items are being fulfilled by Shopbop and Zappos, and there are some nice Easter deals (which mostly consist of small toys to add to your child’s Easter basket). I’d also check out the household essentials section; a lot of trash bags, toilet paper, and other boring things are on sale, and if you spend $50 on select items, you’ll earn a $15 credit toward future purchases. And if you’d like to get into the true spirit of the sale, deals writer Alexandra Polk found the best spring cleaning deals.
I’ve rounded up only the truly good deals below, broken down by category. I’ll be checking back in often to add more deals, so bookmark this page to stay up-to-date.
Deals I personally think are the best
Any way you calculate it, $7 for three Squishmallows is a very good deal. Stasher’s bag bundles (which are some of our favorite food-storage containers) rarely go on sale outside of Amazon sales, so now’s a good time to nab some. And if you’ve been curious about Bissell’s carpet cleaner, it’s now under $100.
Women’s fashion
As I wrote in my early deals post, the fashion deals fulfilled through Shopbop are particularly good. Amazon also added plenty of items from its in-house line, The Drop, so I included a few fairly nice-looking pieces. I also spotted a lot of comfy-looking shoes Skechers, Keen, Lacoste, and Dr. Martens.
You can always count on good deals on Levi’s jeans during an Amazon sale. This baggy-legged pair has intriguing seams that vaguely remind me of barrel jeans.
A pair for your summer wardrobe (now as low as $20).
The drop-waist tank dress is still one of the summer styles du jour. This one from Amazon’s in-house line has a 100 percent cotton skirt and comes in three colors, though I think black looks the sleekest.
For a pair of sandals that can do it all, go with Keen. Senior editor Winnie Yang has logged many miles in this particular pair. “They’re easy to get on and off, and they have a little height to them, which gives my feet (or maybe just my mind) that critical distance from grimy sidewalks and subway floors,” she says. And right now, they are just over $50 — a very good deal on them.
Price varies by size (I found this particular colorway for as low as $78 and as high as $98), but that’s at minimum a 30 percent discount — and as much as 44 percent — on a good pair of mules you can slip on all spring and summer.

Men’s fashion
The men’s section is always fairly slim compared to the women’s section, but there are quite a few nice boots for muddy spring days on sale, as well as a handsome Herschel duffel bag for 25 percent off. And as is always the case with an Amazon sale, it’s a good time to get Levi’s jeans.
Plenty of Hanes’ comfortable, durable basics, which are already affordable, are even cheaper right now. Perhaps start with our favorite crewneck.
Jeans that don’t feel like a prison, according to chef Jacques Torres. “These give a little bit, so if I gain a couple of pounds, I don’t have to change my jeans. Look, we all have our little secrets, no?” (Note: The discount amount varies by size.)
We first heard about this handsome work backpack from Vanderpump Rules’s James Kennedy. He uses it while traveling, but says it’s also good for the office. “I can throw all of my DJ equipment in here for a one-night gig: my laptop, headphones, wires, USB chips. And I can also fit in a spare T-shirt and even a wash bag,” he explains.

Skin care
Beauty is always one of the best categories to shop during Amazon sales, but the Big Spring Sale’s skin-care section is especially great. Beauty writer Rachael Griffiths, who rounded up all the best Amazon Spring Sale beauty deals, says several of the skin-care deals are even better than what we saw last Black Friday. I noticed mainstays like Bioderma’s micellar water (one of our favorite makeup removers) and DHC’s cleansing oil back on sale, as well as few new finds like Mediheal’s TikTok-hyped toning pads.
Sunday Riley’s vitamin-C serum is 25 percent off, which is about as deep a discount the brand offers.
Brianne Howey raved about these under-eye masks in her “What I Can’t Live Without” a few weeks ago, and Strategist readers have been buying them in droves. “They de-puff and hydrate like I’ve never seen. They had incredible reviews, and they live up to the hype,” she explains.
Strategist readers stock up on CosRx’s snail mucin every time it’s on sale — for good reason. It retexturizes skin, helps heal post-pimple-popping, and tackles hyperpigmentation, and it’s just $16 right now.
An effective retinol that’s not harsh on skin. It was the best thing under $50 that fashion designer Sally LaPointe said she bought herself back in 2020.

Beauty writer Tembe Denton-Hurst is a big fan of Bioderma’s cleansing oil, which is “key for in-shower moisturizing.”

For nether-regions trimming, we recommend this sleek tool from Meridian. It’s cordless, waterproof, and ergonomically designed, has a 90-minute battery life, and is now $30.

Makeup
Makeup has the slimmest selection in the beauty category, but that doesn’t mean there aren’t some good deals in the mix, like Urban Decay eyeliner and K-beauty lip tints. For more beauty deals, check out our expanded coverage here.
I’m putting this Strategist-favorite sunscreen under “makeup” because it has a tint to it, but an untinted version is on sale, too. In my opinion, it’s worth stocking up any time it goes on sale for 20 percent off.
Beauty writer Rachael Griffiths declared that “the best blue mascara is $13” — but it’s down to just $8 during the sale. (And it comes in a range of other good colors; I own both blue and brown and have my eye on burgundy and a shade called “space diamond.”)
Urban Decay makes some our favorite eye-shadow palettes, and the Naked palette is particularly beloved by Griffiths. This mini version contains six Naked colors in soft rosy hues.

Twenty percent off seems to be the typical discount in the hair-care section, where you’ll find a shampoo-and-conditioner duo from Verb’s Strategist-loved Ghost line, Briogeo’s deep-conditioning hair mask, and Seen’s dermatologist-formulated cleanser. But if you want a bigger discount, go for the hair tools — I found several favorites discounted by 25 percent or more (including a Chi hair straightener for just $38). We’ve previously recommended this conditioner for dry hair. It contains juniper berry (good for keeping scalp oils balanced) along with moisturizing glycerin and babassu-seed oil.
If you buy just one beauty item from the Amazon Big Spring Sale, beauty writer Dominique Pariso argues it should be this Shark hair styler. “My favorite detail? The clever rotating handle that swivels down to turn the FlexStyle from a styler into a more traditional hair dryer,” she writes. It’s marked down to $220, which she says is an all-time low.
BaByliss makes several of our favorite flat irons, but for an ultrasimple pick, go with the Nano. It works on all hair types and reaches up to 450 degrees.

This category is, like most Amazon sales, very robust. I’ve found a few of our favorite teeth-whitening strips, Abby Elliott’s magnesium gummies, protein powder, and more.
I always recommend buying these Crest teeth-whitening strips during an Amazon sale. They’re always marked down to $30, and they’re always worth it.
Three dollars per tube is pretty good in this economy!
Our best overall electrolyte packets aren’t massively discounted, but at $7 off, it’s still a good time to stock up ahead of hot summer days ahead. Strategist associate editor Jeremy Rellosa says they mix easily in a bottle of water and help him quickly refuel the sodium he loses after a workout session.

As I always say, since you have to buy boring things like hand soap, paper towels, and batteries, you might as well get them on sale. Plus, one of our favorite insect repellents is back on sale again this year. I’m seeing a lot of vacuums, air purifiers, and household cleaners — the theme is spring cleaning, after all. (And if you’d like more, we rounded up all the best spring cleaning deals here.) Now might also be a good time to toss out any old and lumpy pillows in favor of a fresh one from Coop or Core Products, two of our favorite pillow brands.
For a pillow designed to alleviate neck pain, we love this simple fiber-filled pillow from Tri-Core. Junior writer Brenley Goertzen tested it for a few nights and said the pillow helped align her head with her spine, while the contoured cervical support took stress off her shoulders.

My favorite little baking sheets from Great Jones are 20 percent off.
Matteo Lane’s espresso machine is a commendable 41 percent off. “It really has made my life so much easier, and it has that frother! I put milk and sugar in, and you can hear the sugar melting into the milk. And then I make my cappuccino. I have that every goddamn morning, and I look forward to it,” he says.
I wasn’t expecting to find a Vitamix on sale for this particular Amazon sale, but lo: The A2500 is $126 off when you buy it in this punchy red shade.

Headphone and speakers are the name of the game so far. I’ve found several good discounts on brands like JBL, Sonos, and Bose, plus a pair of Beats Pros for almost half off! Also, there’s a portable charger from Anker for almost half off — I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again, it’s never a bad time to get a discounted portable charger. This is the cheapest that the Kindle Paperwhite (for kids, but adults can use it too) ever gets.
Tech writer Jordan McMahon recently named this our best less-expensive Bluetooth speaker. “If you want to get a speaker that’s affordable and doesn’t cut corners on audio quality, Sony’s SRS XB100 sounds surprisingly good for costing well under $100,” he says.
Anker makes four of our seven favorite power banks. This one, one of its cheapest options, is nearly half off right now, so you have no excuse to run out of battery while on the go again.

I see this set of organic-cotton tees go on sale occasionally, and 50 percent off is the best deal you’ll get. (That’s under $3 per shirt.)
Rarely can you go wrong with Legos, especially when they’re just $8.
